Redesigned for 2015, the Chevy Colorado returns for 2016 with very few updates. The incoming 2016 model sports many of the same components featured on last year's Colorado for buyers to take advantage of. Tiny enhancements have been made to the model this year, but outside of the small technology upgrades, the 2016 Chevy Colorado

When the 2016 Chevy Colorado in Decatur takes its place on the market, it will offer three engine options: a 2.5L four-cylinder, 3.6L V-6 and 2.8L Duramax diesel. The 2.5L will deliver 200 horsepower and 191 lb.-ft. of torque, while the 3.6L V-6 will produce 305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. Power-wise, the 2.8L diesel generates 181 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque, making it an ideal option for those who need to haul heavy payloads. All engines will come paired with a six-speed automatic transmission; however, extended cab 2WD WT models equipped with the 2.5L engine will also be available with a six-speed manual.
Aside from its excellent engine options, the 2016 Chevy Colorado in Decatur will feature an enhanced, color driver information center display and a new version of Chevy MyLink. The updated system will offer Apple CarPlay capability and simple smartphone integration for drivers to utilize. In addition to these benefits, the Colorado will also come with OnStar and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot so passengers can stay connected while on the go.
