Primarily unchanged for the 2016 model year, the Trax only receives four new exterior paint colors: Champagne Metallic, Sable Metallic, Crimson Metallic and Cyber Gray Metallic. Each highlight feature offered on last year's model has been carried over for 2016 and include remote keyless entry, OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot, ten standard airbags and a standard rearview camera. A turbocharged 1.4L four-cylinder engine is packed underneath the hood of the 2016 Chevy Trax in Decatur. It produces 138 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft. of torque, while working alongside a Hydra-Matic 6T40 six-speed automatic transmission.
