What's New for the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe?

One of the most exciting things about the new Tahoe is that you get more choices. There are three more trim levels that weren't there before. This means you can choose between many different packages with possible options like more horsepower or four-wheel drive.

2022 Tahoe Trims and Features

The LS is the first basic trim in the line. This includes a two-wheel drive and the V8 engine. You get the 18-inch silver wheels for this as well. You also have the all-season tires that should work well in most average situations. You even get the chrome roof rack which you can use if you need to carry extra luggage.

The LT trim level gives you a choice of either two or 4 wheel drive. You can also choose up to the 3.0 L engine if you like. It includes the LS features but also has some extras, such as the auto-dimming rearview mirror. You also get wireless charging as well as the Bose 9 speaker sound system upgrade.

For the RST trim level, they add a black tri to make it look more sporty. There are appearance configurations available such as jet black interior and red stitching that's custom made. There are also 22-inch aluminum wheels as well.

The options for Z21 include the 4-wheel drive configuration, which comes standard. As well as offroad options like underbelly skid plates.

The Premier level includes a Lane Change Alert and blind-spot monitoring. The speaker system is also upgraded to 10 speakers.

The High Country trim has options like the 22-inch rims with wheel locks.

2022 Chevrolet Tahoe Horsepower

The Tahoe has the standard 355 horsepower. It also has the10 speed automatic transmission. Some trim levels may increase this amount.

Depending on the trim, you can have different safety options. For example, forward collision alert and the automatic emergency braking are standard. This way, your car can automatically stop itself if you are in danger of driving into something, but you will also be warned about it. Other options can warn you about accidental lane changes or tell you about what's happening in your blind spots.
