Powertrain Limited Warranty

The Powertrain Limited Warranty is valid on most new Chevy vehicles for the first five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. It also applies to 2020 Light Duty trucks with a 3.0L  turbo diesel engine, along with Heavy Duty trucks in the 2500 and 3500 series that are also equipped with a turbo-diesel engine. Commercial vehicles are covered for up to 100,000 miles. Commercial drivers should contact their Chevrolet dealer for specific details about coverage for commercial cars.

Electric and Hybrid Limited Warranty

The Electric and Limited Hybrid Warranty is designed exclusively for Chevrolet vehicles with an electric-based or hybrid powertrain. This warranty is added to the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty. It is intended to give hybrid vehicle owners maximum protection if a part goes bad on the hybrid powertrain. The hybrid warranty is valid for up to 100,000 miles or eight years. The warranty starts on the day that you purchase the car.

Emissions Warranty

The Emissions Warranty from Chevrolet is good for 24,000 miles or two years. However, specific components are covered for the first 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Emissions Warranty applies federally to all new Chevrolet vehicles.
