What's New For the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer?

The most significant change for the Chevy Blazer in 2021 is the addition of more advanced safety technology. More safety features are standard on specific trims this year than before, and extra safety features are also available through packages. The Blazer returns with a choice of three engines for 2021, and it has some minor adjustments to feature availability based on trim.

2021 Blazer Trims & Features

There are six trims available for the Chevy Blazer in 2021. Starting off the family is the L. Although it's the first trim, the L is far from basic. The L comes with 18-inch wheels for head-turning style. Four USB ports provide plenty of charging capability. The L also has a user-friendly eight-inch infotainment system. It comes with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and app support. The 1LT adds satellite radio and tinted windows. The driver's seat is power-adjustable as well.

The 2LT is equipped with a suite of driver-assist safety aids. A more powerful engine is available beginning with this trim. The 3LT piles on the luxury with leather upholstery and heated front seats. A hands-free liftgate is an added convenience. Heated side mirrors make for comfortable driving in cold weather. You'll get a few extra safety aids with the 3LT, too. A programmable liftgate, custom black trim, upgraded infotainment system, and heated steering wheel are added to the RS. The Premier has ventilated seats in front, heated seats all around, a driver's seat with memory settings, and a premium sound system.

Chevrolet Blazer Safety

Chevrolet includes a high-definition rearview camera and Teen Driver mode among the Blazer's standard safety features. If you need driver-assistance technology, spring for the 2LT, which debuts the Chevy Safety Assist of technologies that consist of pre-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, a following distance indicator, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high-beam technology. Added to the 3LT trim are blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane change alert, and rear parking sensors to accompany the rearview camera.
