What's New For the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt?
The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt has several changes in store for the latest model year. The Chevrolet Bolt is now produced in two different models. You can still get the original Bolt, called the Chevrolet Bolt EV, along with a new model called the EUV. The two vehicles are close cousins with many similar features, including a shared electric powertrain, many of the same interior technology and safety features, and various customization options. Both also have seating for five people. The Bolt EUV is a little longer and bigger overall than the Bolt EV, and it gets about 250 miles of all-electric range. The Bolt EV has a refreshed interior and exterior in 2022, and it gets more updated technology and more standard safety equipment.
2022 Bolt Trims & Features
The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV comes in three trim levels. Two trim levels are available if you get the Bolt EV. The first trim in the lineup for the Bolt EUV is called the LT. This trim level features an innovative cabin complete with soft-touch materials for an overall pleasant look and feel. The base trim contains a wealth of new tech features from Chevy, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Wi-Fi hotspot is available. Leather seats are added to the second trim level, which also gets a driver's seat that moves in eight ways. The top trim level, which is the Launch Edition, adds a panoramic sunroof as well. Ventilated seats are optional. The first trim in the Bolt EV is the 1LT. It comes with LED headlights for a bold look, and it also has a 10.2-inch display, along with a digital display cluster. Heated seats and leather upholstery come with the second trim level, 2LT, on the regular Bolt EV.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt Horsepower
Both the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV and EV have the same electrical powertrain. They both get power from a single electric motor and a separate battery stored underneath the floor to maximize power and cargo space. The two vehicles get up to 200 HP with their powertrain, and they get about 266 LB-FT in torque. The Bolt uses front-wheel drive and has an automatic transmission.
Chevrolet Bolt Safety
Standard safety technology on the 2022 Chevy Bolt includes forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assist. Adaptive cruise control and a surround-view camera are other available safety aids.
