Miles Chevrolet Shows Off the New Chevrolet Sonic
Coming into 2016, the Chevy Sonic will contain many of the same features available on last year's model. It will continue to sport an athletic design, great technology and come with an array of excellent safety features, including OnStar. However, a few new changes have been made to the 2016 Chevy Sonic
that will increase its appeal among car buyers. The updated model will come with new standards on select trims and sport three new exterior paint color options that will enhance the hatchback's overall look. Two engines will be available on the 2016 Chevy Sonic in Decatur: an Ecotec 1.4L turbo and a 1.8L powertrain. As the more powerful one of the two, the 1.4L turbo will produce 138 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft. of torque, while the 1.8L will output 138 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque. The 1.8L engine will be available with a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.4L will come with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. The LTZ model will come standard with the six-speed automatic for the first time this year.
